I’m sure you’re all wondering who exactly is Gossip Girl. I could be anyone - the girl in your biology class, that boy from the debate team, the Constance Billard janitor... You’re all certainly just dying to know. Who could this mysterious person who holds all of the Upper East Side’s juiciest secrets possibly be? Well, unfortunately for you, you’ll never find out. Fortunately for me, I get the dish on everything that’s going on in the world of the UES. Gossip Girl has the latest breaking news compiled by yours truly (as well as the countless, anonymous informants I have all over this city).

Forget Lucy Liu and the Cashmere Mafia, our new guilty pleasure, and possible Sex and the City replacement – can it be true!? – is a new, teen drama series from the creator of The O.C., Josh Schwartz. Based on the novels of Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl revolves around a group of rich teens growing up on New York’s Upper East Side. Set in an exclusive private school, there’s the expected sex, drugs and socialite parties, but it’s the rivalry between the two main female characters – and best frenemies – Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf (played by Blake Lively, left, and Leighton Meester) that takes centre stage. Think Beverly Hills 90210, Dynasty and Melrose Place all rolled into one.

Sporty Summer Camps

Established in 1993, Dunmore East Adventure Centre is a purpose built Centre located at the top of the slipway in Dunmore East Harbour, and is conveniently adjacent to two sheltered coves, ideal for watersports training. Landsports take place either on site, or within 5 - 10 mins walk from the Activity Base.


For teens who are looking for more of a challenge, and want to develop new skills, we now offer a skills week. With plenty of water and land based activities to enjoy, the emphasis will be to learn more about each activity, but not forgetting the fun element, which is all part of the learning experience!

Activities for Teenagers include: Sailing, kayaking, orienteering, open canoes, windsurfing, archery, rockclimbing, surf skis, it's a knockout.


RESIDENTIAL COURSES
Full residential activities programme includes evening activities to ensure groups are active and occupied their entire stay. Full board or self catering is optional.

Text Dumping

The message tone beeps and you are expecting a really nice sweet message from your gorgeous boi and then he turns into a Monster. It starts real nice and then you get to the middle of the message and oops you’re dumped.

Text Dumping is a pretty awful thing to do. Only a coward would dump someone over the phone, through a text, or through emails or IM.I mean...who would DO that? It's so low. Dumping anyone is never easy, no matter how much you like or dislike them, but to do it by text is soooo WRONG! It’s no laughing matter. Text dumping is worse than face-to-face dumping. If you are face to face with a person you can tell from the tone and atmosphere that perhaps the end is near. After the initial shock you start wondering, “what is wrong with me?” It’s rude, cowardly and pathetic. If you are going to hurt this person you should at least have the guts to do it face to face and not to take the easy way out. The really awful thing about text dumping is that the person who sent the messages gets away with it. I think many of us blame ourselves and then we think of every single conversation, action we did in their presence and start to go crazy with the “what if’s”. At the same time, the other half is out there having the time of their lives, probably getting more numbers from people they are eventually going to dump.


Breaking up with someone by text is totally CCU (CRUEL,COWARDLY,UNCOOL).

This video of Britney Spears' soon-to-be ex-husband apparently getting a text message informing him that the pop princess had filed for divorce became the most viewed item on the YouTube Internet site on Thursday, with more than 1 million hits. AND let's face it - it did nothing to help Britney's UNCOOL image!
